BAUSCH + LOMB horizon rewards is a contact lens rebate program that allows you to earn points and tokens that can be redeemed for gift cards or used to enter drawings for prizes.

If you are familiar with the Acuvue Rewards, Alcon Rebate, or CooperVision Rebate, then you know that a rebate is simply a way to get money back after you purchase an annual supply of qualifying contact lenses.

Bausch + Lomb offers a similar program, except they also introduce points and tokens instead of simply offering cashback. The good news is that reward points can be redeemed for prepaid gift cards. Keep reading to learn how the program works, how to redeem points, and see which contacts are eligible for the program.

How the Bausch + Lomb Horizon Rewards Program Works

Bausch + Lomb announces which contact lenses are eligible for points every six months. Every 100 points earned can be redeemed for $10 in rewards (including a prepaid gift card).

The only catch is that if you visit the Bausch + Lomb horizon rewards site, it doesn’t say which contact lenses are eligible for points, so you have to check our website (keep reading to see which contacts are currently participating) for the details or go to your eye doctor or optical shop to find out.

ALL RECEIPTS must be from the same eye care doctor or provider who prescribed your contacts or from a location affiliated with that practitioner.

How To Submit A Bausch + Lomb Contact Lens Purchases For Points

When you purchase your lenses at your doctor’s office or optical shop, ask them for an offer code before checking out. Once you have an offer code, you will head to bauschrewards.com to create an account and submit your claim online.

To submit your claim, you will need:

  1. Offer code
  2. Picture of your contact lens boxes with UPC barcode
  3. Picture of your purchase receipt
  4. Your eye care practitioner information (their system has a lookup tool)
  5. Claim must be submitted within 60 days of purchase

ALL RECEIPTS must be from the same eyecare practitioner who prescribed your contacts or from a location affiliated with that practitioner. 

Once you go through the steps and upload the photos required, they will review your claim and approve it (or not) within 48 to 72 hours. Once your claim is approved, your points will be added to your account.

How To Redeem Bausch + Lomb Points For Rewards

Once your points have been added to the account, redeeming points is a breeze. Just log into your Bausch + Lomb horizon rewards account and click on the rewards tab at the top. Once there, you’ll see how many points you have and a list of rewards you can select. If you just want cashback via a prepaid rewards card, you can redeem it starting at 100 points (a $10 value).

If you’d prefer, you can donate your rewards value to Optometry Giving Sight, the only global fundraising initiative that specifically targets the prevention of blindness and impaired vision due to uncorrected refractive error.

And finally, you can redeem points for a gift card at several different retailers, including REI, Apple, Starbucks, and many more.

How to Earn Bausch + Lomb Horizon Reward Tokens

Tokens can be redeemed for entry into drawings for gift cards and other prizes. Earning tokens is super easy. Just log into your rewards account and click on the EARN tab. You’ll be able to earn tokens by reading articles, referring friends, or entering promo codes.

It’s that simple. And you’ll be able to use the tokens to play to win gift cards. For example, as of this writing, you can enter to win a $25 Dunkin Donut gift card.

Can I purchase my contacts online at eCommerce sites?

No. Unfortunately, to get the offer code needed to submit a rebate claim, you’ll have to purchase your contacts online. However, it could still be worth using our contact price comparison page to see if it could still be cheaper to buy online and skip the rebate.

Alternatively, if you aren’t ready to buy an entire annual supply yet, you can always buy online if you find cheap contacts.

Can I purchase my contacts at Walmart, Costco, or Target?

No. According to Bausch + Lomb customer support, purchases made at those stores are not eligible.

Do points and tokens expire?

Yes, points and tokens expire after 12 months, so you should redeem them as soon as you earn them so that you don’t forget.

Is there a limit to how many times I can submit a claim?

Yes, individuals are limited to 1 claim per year, and households are limited to 5 claims per year. Additionally, you are NOT allowed to submit the same purchase multiple times or create another account to submit the purchase again.

Is there an age limit?

Yes, you must be at least 18 years of age or older at the time of purchase.
